150KV 150MVA 3 Phase Power Transformer

The 150 kV 150 MVA 3-Phase Power Transformer is an advanced, oil-immersed unit engineered for major transmission corridors and large utility substations. It meets IEC 60076 and ANSI/IEEE C57.12 standards for performance and safety. Its conservator-type tank, fitted with a self-regenerating silica-gel breather, maintains optimal oil quality across –20 °C to +100 °C ambient variations. Continuous natural cooling (ONAN) supports 90 MVA operation, while staged forced-air cooling (ONAF1/ONAF2) elevates capacity to 120 MVA and 150 MVA respectively, all at a controlled 65 °C temperature rise. A 17-step on-load tap changer provides ±8 × 1.25 % voltage regulation under load, ensuring downstream stability. The IP55-rated enclosure and high-integrity porcelain bushings (650 kV/150 kV BIL) deliver robust protection in demanding outdoor settings.
