250KVA Single Phase Pole Mounted Transformer

A compact, service-ready 250 kVA single-phase pole-mounted transformer engineered for overhead distribution where space, reliability and thermal performance matter. It features a corrugated-fin tank for improved heat dissipation, flexible primary options (commonly 12.47 kV or 24.94 kV), off-circuit tap capability for site voltage trimming, and a choice of mineral oil or FR3 natural-ester dielectric for projects demanding higher fire-safety margins. Designed and tested to modern IEEE/ANSI distribution standards, this unit balances low losses with heavy duty tolerance for rural feeders, commercial spurs and utility pole-tap applications.

Product Advantages

Icon logo

Thermal efficiency engineered for continuous duty

Corrugated-fin tank increases convective surface area so the transformer dissipates heat more effectively than smooth-sided designs — enabling consistent ONAN performance and improved life expectancy under heavy daily loading.

Icon logo 2

Field-friendly serviceability & voltage flexibility

Off-circuit 5-position taps and standard LV terminations minimize truck rolls: technicians can quickly rebalance voltage, inspect the LV compartment or replace accessories with common tools and clear labeling.

Icon logo 1

Safety and compliance options that match modern site rules

Built to contemporary IEEE/ANSI distribution standards and available with FR3 natural-ester fluid for projects where enhanced fire performance and environmental credentials are required. FR3 also delivers measurable operational advantages (higher flash/fire points, improved biodegradability).
