Composite Anti Windage Yaw Insulator

The Composite Anti Windage Yaw Insulator is a wind-resistant composite jumper insulator designed to keep high-voltage jumper conductors stable under strong wind and reduce flashover risk caused by conductor displacement toward the tower or cross-arm. Built with a composite insulator body, silicone rubber full-skirt cover, upper and lower metal fittings, and in some designs grading rings, it is widely used in 35 kV to 330 kV overhead line systems. With options such as different section lengths, creepage distances, arcing distances, and a fiberglass core rod with high mechanical strength, it provides both reliable electrical insulation and improved mechanical stability for jumper sections exposed to harsh weather.

Product Accessories

Grading rings are used on selected designs to improve electric-field control at the end fittings, and the patent record for this product family specifically shows grading-ring placement at the upper and lower end fitting zones.

Connection hardware such as tower-side bolts, link plates, and clamp interfaces is used to match the insulator to the jumper arrangement and tower structure. The patent description shows a lower end wire clamp connection and a bolted upper connection to the tower side.

Coupling options are selected according to the project’s installation requirement, and the manufacturer datasheet lists coupling type as part of the order information.
