Core (Magnetic Circuit System)
Materials: Constructed using high-permeability cold-rolled silicon steel sheets with a full-oblique seam lamination process and a stepped cross-sectional design, significantly reducing no-load losses by 30%-40% compared to the S11 series.
Features: Exhibits low hysteresis losses and operates with minimal noise; the core surface is coated with an anti-rust resin to extend its service life.

Winding System (Electrical Circuit System)
High-voltage Winding: The 10kV side utilizes a multi-layer cylindrical winding structure, with either copper or aluminum conductors. Each turn is wrapped with DMD insulation paper to boost mechanical strength and improve short-circuit resistance.
Low-voltage Winding: The 0.4kV side is wound using copper foil, which reduces eddy current losses and enhances heat dissipation efficiency.
Insulation Process: Employs Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) with Class H insulation materials (rated up to 180°C) and incorporates a vacuum oil injection process to eliminate internal air bubbles for optimal performance.

Oil Tank and Cooling System
Oil Tank Structure: Features a fully sealed corrugated steel plate oil tank that eliminates the need for an external conservator. The inherent elasticity of the corrugated fins compensates for oil volume changes, effectively isolating the oil from oxygen and moisture to ensure maintenance-free operation.
Cooling Method: Utilizes natural oil cooling (ONAN) where the corrugated radiator fins facilitate efficient heat dissipation without the need for supplementary fans.

Protective Devices
Pressure Relief Valve: Automatically releases pressure when the internal pressure exceeds 35 kPa, thereby preventing potential oil tank rupture.
Gas Relay (Buchholz Relay): Monitors for gas accumulation from internal faults, triggering alarms or circuit breaker trips, and is standard for units rated at 315kVA and above.
Temperature Controller: Equipped with PT100 sensors for remote oil temperature monitoring; signal thermometers are standard on models of 800kVA and above.

Tap Changer
No-Load Tap Changer (NLTC): Provides voltage regulation on the high-voltage side with an adjustment range of ±5% or ±2×2.5%. Operation requires de-energization, ensuring the transformer adapts effectively to grid voltage fluctuations.

Bushings and Terminal Connectors
High-voltage Bushings: Constructed from porcelain or composite silicone rubber, these bushings maintain a creepage distance of ≥25mm/kV and incorporate an anti-pollution flashover design for enhanced safety.
Low-voltage Terminals: Utilize tinned copper busbars with anti-oxidation treatment to support high-current connections reliably.
